About Me

My photo
Melinda
A former Herald Sun reporter and award-winning legal journalist, I am lucky to live in such a great foodie city as Melbourne, Australia. I've written reviews for The Age Cheap Eats Guide and the Melbourne Coffee Guide. I grew up on a farm in country Victoria, where food, and the rituals around it, were an integral part of life. Farm life was the perfect introduction to the modern idea of "from paddock to plate", with most of our food grown and consumed at home. I love cooking and eating food with my family and friends. I want to share my cooking adventures with others, swap recipes, discover new foodie ideas and ingredients and ensure that the rituals and joys of cooking are treasured and passed on.
